Sleigh Tease

The moment we both grabbed the rope, our gloves brushed, and suddenly, the cold air didn’t feel so cold. Every time I leaned back to pull, I felt his eyes on me. And honestly? I didn’t mind. In fact, I may or may not have “accidentally” brushed against him a few extra times. For balance. Obviously.

At one point, he teased me that I wasn’t pulling hard enough, so I stepped closer, tugged the rope with a burst of dramatic strength, and—yes—absolutely bumped my hip against his on purpose. The look he gave me… let’s just say it warmed me more than my jumper ever could.

We tugged that sledge through snowdrifts, laughing, flirting, pretending the workout was the point. It wasn’t.
